Yamaha YTS82Z Custom Z Tenor Saxophone (Non Lacquer Finish)
Yamaha's newest custom series saxophone is the 82Z. This saxophone is a combination of the quick action of the 62 and the warm tone color of the original custom.
- Front F mechanism: A unique front F mechanism design allows independent adjustment of the high F tone hole pad opening to ideally match the player's preference and playing style.
- High F# key: Allows for easier playability in the extended range high harmonics.
- Hand-engraved bell: Yamaha saxophone bells are engraved by experienced craftsmen who have spent years perfecting their art.
- Mother-of-pearl key buttons: Comfortable and high-quality.
- Ribbed and flanged post mounting: Stronger key mechanism for better durability and a more resonant sound.
Body design
The 82Z features a two-piece hydro-formed bell. The body, bell, and bow are annealed during production to make this horn more responsive and less resistant.

The new mechanisms on the 82Z allow for faster action and easier repair.
Blue steel springs
The 82Z comes with blue steel springs for faster, more sensitive key response and higher resiliency.
New case
The new 82Z comes equipped with a newly designed lightweight case that has a shoulder strap.

Yamaha YTS82Z Custom Z Tenor Saxophone (Non Lacquer Finish)
The manufacturer's warranty covers parts for five years and labor for five years from date of purchase. The warranty excludes damage from misuse, abuse, and contains other exclusions.
