Yamaha Stage Custom Advantage (Standard Set)
Green Metalic Lacquer The new Stage Custom Advantage drums from Yamaha feature their exclusive YESS (Yamaha Enhanced Sustain System) mounting system. This rod clamp system allows attachment of the drum to the tom holder without the need of a hole in the drum shell for the rod to pass through. The YESS clamp is attached to the shell with two bolts so as to allow the shell to vibrate freely without degrading the shell's dynamic range and sustain. Incorporating a springless casing design, the precision-machined lug nuts offer noise-free control similar to those found on Yamaha's Recording Custom drums. These high tension lugs are manufactured as genuine one-piece units. All new Stage Custom Standard and Advantage series drumsets feature Yamaha's exclusive 17" deep bass drum that delivers a thunderous deep, punchy tone.
The shells are made of Birch at the outer layer and Falkata combined with Philippine Mahogany at the inner layers. These layers are combined and sealed together using Yamaha's exclusive Air Seal System. This system ensures that every shell is of uniform thickness and perfectly round. Set includes: 22"x17" kick, 12"x10" and 13"x11" toms, 16"x16" floor tom, and 14"x5-1/2" matching wood snare drum.
