Yamaha SD2340 13x4 Steel Shell Snare Drum
Yamaha applied their new metal shell manufacturing process to an all-new Steel shell to create a drum with a bright tone that really cuts thru. The SD-2340s small diameter shell has a high pitch that pops but the 4" depth still has some body so the drum doesnt sound thin. This is a versatile drum that works well as a main snare or as an auxiliary drum.
One-Piece Lugs
One-piece lugs allow high tension and added strength. The locking lug inserts help keep the drum in tune.
New "B" Type detachable Snare Strainer
The new strainer design allows you to change the snare side head without disconnecting the snare strings. The built in tension indicator makes it easier to get your drum set up the way you like when changing snare wires.
Triple flanged 1.6mm hoops
Triple flanged steel hoops give you a wide tuning range and allow the drum to open up even under higher tension.

Yamaha SD2340 13x4 Steel Shell Snare Drum
The manufacturer's warranty covers drums and hardware for three years from date of purchase, and the lacquer or covered finish for one year from date of purchase. The warranty excludes damage from misuse, abuse, and contains other exclusions.
