Yamaha NSD1260M 12x6 Oak Shell Musashi Snare Drum
The 12 x 6 inch shell is ideal as a secondary drum to complement the usual 13" or 14" snare drum. You can tune it high and tight or tune it down to get a fatter tone with a lot of body. Oak has a great balance of high-end and warmth, making this drum versatile enough to fit into almost any musical situation. The 12-inch Musashi comes complete with a Groove Wedge so that you can play a cross stick rim shot for ballads. The split snares give you great snare response without choking the snare side head. The deep 2.7mm snare beds allow the snares to lay flat all the way across the snare head, giving you snare response at all dynamic levels.
