New Folding Base Plate
Loosen a single bolt on the underside of the base plate, slide the plate off the frame and fold the unit up for easy transport. This allows for compact transport and storage of the pedal. The single bolt locks the base plate in position during play while two additional posts keep the base plate in proper alignment with the pedal.
Convertible Drive
The double chain drive offers reliable and durable operation with uniform action. The 9310 can also be converted to a belt drive system with the supplied belt.
One-Touch Bass Drum Hoop Clamp Offers Easy Setup
A single lever on the bass drum hoop clamp locks or unlocks with one-touch. The system provides secure attachment and quick removal of the bass drum pedal and can be adjusted to accommodate hoops of different thickness. (The system accommodates hoop thickness from 8mm to 12mm).
New Frame Design
This new Yamaha original design utilizes a support just below the rocker shaft for maximum stability and durability. In double pedal setups, this design offers smooth and stable action since the bearings for each pedals are built into the sub frame.
Beater Angle Adjustment
A single adjustment screw allows adjustment of the beater angle along with the angle of the footboard.
New Footboard
New footboards are designed with both a flat surface that lets your foot slide when you want it to, and a grooved surface for superior grip during play.
Spring Tension Adjustment
This one hand operation lets you obtain optimum spring tension with a minimum of effort. A lock bolt keeps your setting secure during performance.
Spring Roller with Bearings
High precision bearings deliver smooth and natural pedal action.
Extended, Angled Base Plate
The base plate is designed with a slight bend in the middle to provide stability even on uneven surfaces.
New Hinge Design
The hinge has been redesigned with a nut and bolt for greater durability.
Drum Key and Hex Wrench
This unique tool combines both the drum key and hex wrench into a single tool to speed up setup. The tool can be stored in a holder on the base plate.
Footboard Angle Adjustment
A single adjustment bolt allows adjustment of the footboard angle, independent of beater angle, providing greater playing comfort. Using a larger diameter adjustment bolt than those found on previous models plus a steel nut insert offers greater fastening power and durability.
Bass Drum Hoop Swivel Clamp
The Clamp is designed to deliver secure attachment to the bass drum hoop, even if the bass drum is set at an angel. It's design also prevents scratching of the hoop.
Glow-In-The-Dark Sticker
Phosphorescent stickers on both sides of the foot board emit enough light to let you see where the foot pedal is on a dark stage.
Beater Stopper
Serving as a "memory clamp" on the beater shaft, the beater stopper lets you obtain the same beater setting each and every time.
