At the heart of the Yamaha DTX750K electronic drum set is the Yamaha DTX700 Drum Trigger Module. The DTX700 module is bursting with sounds and features. It has 1,268 drums and percussion sounds, 128 keyboard & melodic sounds and if that wasn’t enough, there is 64 MB of Flash-ROM space for loading your own samples! The DTX700 has 50 preset drum kits at the ready, covering a wide and diverse range of musical styles and there are 60 user-editable kits for you to assemble and store. And along with 93 preset songs in a wide range of genres, the onboard training functions “Groove-Check” and “Rhythm Gate” will help you to perfect your timing, feel and versatility. In addition, the DTX700 module includes loads of built-in effects and mixing so your performance can go straight to the PA or recording mixer with no additional treatment needed.

To get the sensation of playing a Yamaha acoustic drum set, the DTX750K uses the acclaimed DTX-PAD series snare and tom pads featuring Textured Cellular Silicone drumhead technology. The XP100SD 3-zone 10” snare pad and the three XP80 – 8” tom pads provide a very natural and comfortable acoustic drum feel, easily responding to nuance and dynamics. The XP100SD Snare Pad sits own its own Yamaha SS662 Snare Stand and also features a tone control allowing you to easily adjust the pitch and tone of the sound assigned to the snare pad. The KP65 bass drum kick tower is comfortable, sensitive, strong and stays where you put it. REAL Hi-Hat feel and natural performance is accomplished with the RHH135 Hi-Hat Pad on top of a Yamaha HS650A Hi-Hat Stand. The three cymbals are the large 3-zone, choke-able cymbal pads, a PCY155 15” pad for the ride cymbal position and two PCY135 13” for crash cymbals.
