The sound is generated from a spruce top which produces full-bodied tone with excellent projection. The back and sides are handcrafted from Koa to compliment the select spruce top. The neck of the Washburn WD55S is carved into a comfortable C-shape and will feel right at home in the hands of players who favor the fast feel of a solid body electric guitar. Other quality touches include an abalone rosette, an engraved "W" on the neck heel, sealed precision tuners, and abalone binding. Case not included.
