Paired with mahogany sides and back, the Englemann Spruce soundboard produces a warm, mellow tone that artists of all genres will be well pleased with. The Washburn WD170SWCE also sports a single cutaway body design that allows for extended range in your lead playing for when you need to access those upper register notes. Other aesthetically pleasing features include an abalone rosette and mahogany binding. The slim taper mahogany neck features a rosewood fingerboard, traditional dot inlays and a satin finish that will feel comfortable in your fretting hand. The headstock sports a rosewood cap with mother of pearl stylized logo and is outfitted with die cast chrome tuners. The Washburn WD170SWCE Acoustic Guitar is an outstanding value and is perfect for home, recording or stage use. The Washburn WD170SWCE also features the easy to operate Fishman Presys+ Tuner/Preamp system. Located on the guitar's upper left side, the Fishman's separate gain, bass, and treble controls allow you shape your tone in mid-performance. Pressing a Phase switch boosts low end when playing at reduced volume and helps mitigate feedback at higher volume levels as well.
