Waldorf Largo Virtual Instrument Plug In
Waldorf’s engineering team has promised and delivered sonic quality and Largo will not disappoint. Largo is the first pure software synthesizer with Waldorf DNA. Largo closely mirrors the technology used in Blofeld and Q hardware synthesizers.
Like all Waldorf hardware instruments, ergonomics are a core feature on screen as well. The silky off-white graphical interface will encourage the user to dive in and explore the insane possibilities available within Largo. We warn you… pack a lunch! Waldorf's design philosophy was to make a complex and versatile virtual synth that was capable of producing amazing sonics but with easy-of-use as a hallmark of the experience.
On initial launch, Largo has many presets but the clearly arranged user interface helps you to create your own powerful synthesizer sounds in a breeze. Oscillators and filters are always in direct access and the sub-modules are only a mouse click away. The knobs even respond like analog controls, sometimes exact and in many cases not so precise. It has the same exclusive voice architecture as the legendary Q series and the recently released Blofeld synthesizer line. Of course you’ll be able to integrate these features into your digital audio workstation.
