The UAD-1 Powered Plug-Ins Card opens up a whole new world of of high-end processing and effects to computer-based musicians. Thanks to a high-headroom, custom-built processor specifically designed for DSP, this cross-platform card enables near-virtual digital replicas of Universal Audio's vintage analog classics such as the Teletronix™ LA-2A™ and 1176LN™ compressors, Pultec Program EQ, plus the new DreamVerb high-end reverb plug-in—all without significant drain on your host computer's CPU. And because the UAD-1 works seamlessly with all major VST, MAS, Direct X, and AU compatible audio applications, you don't need to learn an entire new program to benefit from its power and flexibility.
