Love these. No drilling or screwing into the body, can use any existing strap and are easy and quick to use. As with an earlier review, it would be nice to see an aluminum version of these, but I would also suggest that they consider some sort of soft-rubber or foam dampening to keep the locks from rattling. They seem to be designed to fit a wide variety of strap buttons and therefore are a bit loose. On my Ibanez and Pedulla they rattle so I can't use them for recording, but they are absolutely amazing for everything else.

Super easy to install and very secure. It would take a lot to wear these buggers out. The only thing is that they are a bit utilitarian in aesthetics...a more streamlined look would be nice...but other than that, these things serve their purpose VERY well!

maybe there's a better design out there - but this one is great. It is easy and fast to use, uses existing strap pins, definitely won't come off accidentally, and appears to be sufficiently robust enough for the task. And by the way - it has a thin enough profile to allow thicker & heavier guitar straps to fit on the pin with it. If it had been milled out of aluminum bar stock, it would be perfect (and would probably cost 2x). Clearly worth the price of admission.

Having used Dunlops for years, this is a godsend. No screwing into the guitar, you just hook it over the strap button and hand tighten, simple took 10 seconds.

These straplocks are made by my guitar teacher, Rick. He gave me one of his first prototypes and the fact that I didn't have to drill into my prized guitars was a big plus. I'm not saying these are great because they're my teacher's strap-locks, I'm saying this because it is true. I'm quite energetic on-stage and these things really keep the strap on. Buy one pair...try it...and I garauntee you'll agree with me.

I have been playing guitar for 15 years and this is by far the best strap lock I have found on the market yet. It is so much more practical and simple than anything on the market and I would recomend it to guitar players everywhere!
