The Electro-Voice TX2181 is a dual 18” subwoofer, part of the popular Tour X line of loudspeakers. While a perfect companion to the EV TX2152 loudspeaker, these robust thumpers will be a great addition to any PA system in need of chest-punching, earth-shattering bass output.
A pair of EV’s EVS18S woofers handle an impressive 1,000 watts (4,000 peak) with a max SPL rating of 138 dB, so you can be assured of a thumping, reliable bass heavy experience indoor or outdoors. Electro-Voice went the extra mile on this subwoofer by employing their originally designed ergonomic recessed handles (4).
They are sturdy yet comfortable to grip and make carrying the EV TX2181 a lot easier than previous designs. In addition, the recessed cable connection inputs have also been designed so you can put the cabinet up close to a wall without the cables getting in the way. Smart! An extremely durable front grille not only looks killer but also will protect your investment for years to come.
