Tama Starclassic Performer EFX 5-Piece Shell Set
The Starclassic Performer EFX series name was inspired by the mind blowing visual effects created by Tama's Duracover finishes. These shimmering finishes aren't nostalgic recreations of vintage wraps of the past. They're new designs and colors created for a modern world. The EFX series combines the great round sound and projection of the original Starclassic Performer's thin birch shells with the added projection and great looks of these exciting finishes. Tama's Duracover finishes are permanently affixed to each shell with a 100% glued, high pressure rolling technique. This unique process ensures the covering laminate vibrates uniformly with the shell, so there's no compromise to the original full-bodied birch sound. In addition, Starclassic EFX shells have more resistance to humidity than drums featuring less consistent application techniques.
