By using a relatively thick, 1.5mm Brass shell, the S.L.P. Black Brass model provides fat and powerful sound combined with the warm resonance that brass is known for. . A 2.3mm flanged bearing edge adds to the open sound, and a 42-strand Snappy Snares adds a crisp, distinct and desirable buzz that stands up to heavy playing.
Not only the brass shell but also the hoops, lugs and snare strainer are finished in black nickel plating and the drum looks fantastic, as powerful a look as it sounds and it will look great behind any finish of drum set.
