Tama Imperialstar 5 Piece Drumset with Hardware and Cymbals (Black)

Tama's Imperialstar offers a step up from those other "entry level" drum kits. The 6ply/7.5mm shells of the bass drum and all the toms are made of 100% Poplar. The kit features updated bass drum spurs, tom holder and strainer and the new Imperialstar logo. Comes with redesigned Stagemaster hardware. A 1mm steel snare drum with black nickel plate finish is also included.

This "Ready to Rock" package includes: 9"x12" and 10"x13" toms; 16"x16" floor tom; 5.5"x14" steel snare drum; 18"x22" bass drum; HS30W snare stand; HH35W hi-hat stand; HC32W cymbal stand; HC33BW boom cymbal stand; HP30 bass drum pedal; HT25 throne. The German made cymbal set includes a 16" crash, 20" ride and a pair of 14" hi-hats.

This set is worth every penny! I mean 5 piece kit all poplar! Poplar is a drum wood that sounds ok.. but sounds kinda ''paperish, and flat''. But poplar is great for this price! If you wanna get the Pearl Export instead of this... Your mad! The pearl export is around 700-800... But instead of getting the Export you can instead buy this and have some extra money for cymbals and heads. Overall, this kit is worth every penny, and sounds pretty decent if you have good tuning, and heads.

when i got the set, right out of the box, it was ready to rock. i also attached the pearl powershifter double peddle and its the perfect set for rocking out. i gotta say it met my expectations. the only thing is the drum heads (excluding bass drum head) need to eventually be replaced (remo)
