i've had this throne for 8 years and it's finally time for an upgrade. you get what you pay for here, no bells & whistles just a straight-up, low-priced throne. it's sturdy enough but not easily adjusted on the fly since you need to really tighten the nut and clamp to get it to stay in place. 4 stars since it's lasted me so long.

it is pretty good for the money, i can sit for hours on it but it was a little difficult to understand the structure but after an hour of trying to figure it out i did, if you a broke this is the throne for you

Well this throne is probably one of the worst thrones ive ever had. I'd Rather go back to a milk crate i used when i barely started. No matter how much u tighten it it just drops....not satisfied at all...:(

I'm a drum teacher and I've been recommending the Ht25 for my younger students. Its fine for a lightweight child and it has enough padding to be comfortable.

wow this throne was horrible. no matter how tight you tighten it just loosens and then drops. having the tama name i thought it would be alright but it wasnt. although i had a bad experience with tama i tried it again and bought a ergo rider throne and its great for only a few bucks more

"When I bought this throne, I thought it would be nice and sturdy and last a while since it was from Tama. NOT WHAT I EXPECTED AT ALL!!! They say this throne is sturdy...NOT TRUE! It is sturdy if you are 30 pounds! I am about 100 pounds and it is unsturdy. The seat top swivels around while you are drumming which is annoying at first...but you get used to it. You can tighten the top, but don't bother because it will just losten up again. The seat is pretty comfortable. This throne could have been much better than it was. SORRY TAMA BUT YOU FAILED WITH THIS THRONE! The 2.5 is for comfort...and price."
