I have been playing drums for a long time and transporting hardware gig after gig puts alot of ware and tear on them. After buying these boomstands I have had very little bends and breaks.

This is an excellent quality boom cymbal stand at a great price. It's double-braced and very sturdy for the money. I would suggest it for anything but a large ride cymbal. I use it for one of my crash cymbals. I have my ride cymbal on the next Tama boom stand up in the food chain. The THC23BWXX is probably the best stand in it's price range. To get something better will cost about $69 at Samash.com or $99 at your local drum store. That's why I shop at Samash.com. RockerCarl
