This Takamine will reveal the limitations of the player long before the player can reveal the limitations of the instrument. The low set strings make playing notes or tabs a breeze. This is one of the nicest guitars I have ever played. There may be some 'guitar snobbs' who think less of it because it's a Takamine. However, there is not a better instrument to be had for under $1500. This is a very, very good guitar. I whole heartedly recommend TAN 16C.

I have been looking for a great guitar that when I picked it up it just blew me away. I found it with the Takamine TAN16C. The price was also a factor [...] This guitar sounds awsome without the AMP, but when you plug it in, the cooltube makes this thing rock. It also has a built in tuner and it is sooooo easy to play.I recommend you to go [...] see for yourself. This guitar is a perfect 10 for fit and finish and for its ease on play. If you have never played an acoustic electric with a cool tube you gotta try it.
