Ultimate Support TS80B Speaker Stand
The TS-80 Large speaker stands offer the Ultimate in quality and reliability. Glass reinforced polycarbonate fitting at the leg juncture uses a metal clamp over the fitting to minimize over- tightening and breakage. The stands raise and lower with the turn of a redesigned knob, locking tightly for secure support. The footcaps are held in place by both internal and external friction so they stay on gig after gig. TS-80 series stands feature a built in socket adapter which accommodates both 1 - 3/8" and 1 1/2" speaker sockets. Locks firmly into desired position. Minimizes the need for adapters. The telescoping tube lock prevents accidentally pulling out the center tube.

I've used almost every available manufacturer's speaker stands(Of this type.) They fall apart in a year or so, and are'nt as stable, specifically, the twist- tighteners. I've used my USS stands for, at, least, 3 years with no degradation,(Quick! Run to an automotive store and get a radiator hoseclamp because the twist- tightener just crumbled in my hand,) what-so-ever.

I own about 20 Ultimate Support speaker stands. I've had several problems with the plastic fittings cracking due to over-tightening and loose feet in the past. Ultimate has stood by their products 100% and they have always replaced defective or broken parts with a no-questions asked policy. Now they've redeveloped the stands and rectified the problem plastic fittings buy encasing them in a metal ring for better tightening and no breakage. Even the feet have been redesgined to stay on. A first class product from a first class company.
