Traben TRAC5 Chaos 5 String Electric Bass (Assorted Colors)

Idon't gig all that much, but its a great bass to just play around with the low B. It looks great, not too large of a neck like some other five strings I have seen. It is not a perfect bass. Definitely isn't as good as some of the warwicks I've played at places, but for the price I got it([$]), I can deal with a tad lesser tone.

No Cons, Unbelivable price for this caliber of
bass. In a room full of them this amazing sounding, great fit and finish, blew them all
away. Caught a lot of people's attention at the
shop. Some didn't believe the price. They all swore it was a mistake. 3+ months and I still get
the chills when I open my hard case and its just
staring at me. Ready for another run..

I chose this bass from a room full. I plugged in and played several regardless of brand and price. I don't care what's trendy. There were a couple that played and sounded as good but they were between $1000 and $4000. I was sure the pricetag was a mistake at first. I thought "you gotta be kidding, there's no way it's only [$]!" This thing can bring the thunder from an amp with a single 15" speaker. A pro level speaker stack would probably turn your insides to jello. The string action allows great note bends and did I mention the tone? The bottom cutaway allows full fret access but only bassists on the level of John Myung (and who is?)will use all that access properly. I love the overall appearance too. Mine is the grey satin type finish and it just looks mean and gnarly to me. The only downside so far for me is that it's a bit heavier than my old bass. Yeah, I love it! But maybe I shouldn't be saying all this. I'd prefer to keep all this on the down low and not start seeing them everywhere. So shhhh.......

great bass to record with,plays really well.looks nice,and sounds awesome!for the price it can't be beat and 35'' scale adds stability to the neck
