Fender Standard Left Handed 4 String Jazz Bass (Assorted Colors)

Overall, this is a really good bass. I've had it for about four months and I can't stop playing it. It is very durable and is good for playing with a pick or with your fingers. Surprisingly it pretty much holds its tune for a couple of days(depending on the climate). This is a great bass for any one to play. Take note that this bass has a full length neck. Like all basses, this bass you should test out for yourself and see see if this bass is the one for you. This bass has a great range sound. For me, I bought a BOSS Overdive Pedal for a little deeper sound and some distortion. The reason for buying the effects pedal is because I play with a pick so it make the bass sound not as deep as it would be playing with your fingers. Unless you want distortion, I suggest that not to get the pedal for a deeper sound if you play with your fingers. This is all personal preference so you test everything for yourself, but I personally love it.

I went to SamAsh to check out some basses, and tought I was going to purchase an Ibanez RS300 bass. But since they actually had some lefty basses in stock, the rs300 and this Fender J-bass, I could switch back and forth and try them out side by side on the same amp. The Fender sounded really so much better that the Ibanez. Too bad, could have use the extra 200 bucks in my pocket. But hey, I don't plan on buying another Bass any time soon. My moto always is: Buy the best you can afford, that way you will never be sorry.
