Comments about Squier Standard Jazz Bass 4 String Bass (Assorted Colors):
I've haven't played bass since High School (I'm 35 now), but I've been playing cello. I decided to pick up another bass to play around with, so I wanted to go cheap at first. After I lowered the action and adjusted the intonation, this could easily be mistaken for a high dollar fender. I've owned this bass about 4 months now, and honestly, this feels just like a Fender with playability and tone. The only down sides are stain on the antique burst is a bit cheap, and the bridge seems a bit cheap. Easily replaceable for the bridge at least.

Comments about Squier Standard Jazz Bass 4 String Bass (Assorted Colors):
I wanted a good 4-string at a low price that had a deccent sound and feel to it. This is that bass. I had to adjust the neck to get a little better action. It's not perfect, but pretty good. I love the skinny neck. I listen to the hard and heavy stuff, so i play fast. I've had this bass for several years, and I'm looking to upgrade soon. But I'll still keep this one around. Great tone at a great price. Go for it!

Comments about Squier Standard Jazz Bass 4 String Bass (Assorted Colors):
I bought this bass to start me off but it seems I'm working a bit against the tide. The strings are way too high above the fret board, the bridge gets a strange buzzing sound occasionally, and it will go out of tune a lot. The actual guitar itself is solidly built but the tone sounds processed, even through different amps. I know some of this can be adjusted out, and the tinny sound could just be a matter of taste, but this guitar did not inspire me to want to follow up with another Fender.

Comments about Squier Standard Jazz Bass 4 String Bass (Assorted Colors):
"This is an amazing bass guitar. it is truly beautiful. i am not such a fan of the antique sunburst but the black is beautiful. By the way the little blue lines you see bordering some parts of the black bass isnt really there. I see that it is not an option to get this bass in Walnut satin finish. Walnut satin is amazing it is so beautiful. it also feels like actual satin.[...] go [...] right now and special order it in walnut satin finish. it might take about 3-5 weeks, but its worth it!"
