A great powered PA solution for the traveling troubadour! PORTAPACK is everything you'll need for those intimate gigs, plus it all packs up in a neat, ultra-durable package complete with luggage style wheels and telescoping handle. The 5 input mixer has 4 XLR Mic inputs with Phantom Power, 2 Stereo Line Inputs, 5-band Master EQ with Feedback Indicator Circuit (FIC). The Mixer pushes 100W per channel. The 2-way speaker system is perfectly matched to the mixer and features a 10" woofer and a Piezoelectric Horn. Ergonomic storage compartments for microphones, cables and accessories are also included. Comes with two folding speaker stands, two 25' speaker cables and one cardiod dynamic microphone with cable.

Easy to use in that its plug and play (as long as you figure out that the speakers plug into the inside back of the unit (where the stands store away / power plug goes) Hard to use in that it is a little bulky and odd shaped. It likes to tip over when you pull it, and the speakers ALWAYS fight you when you are trying to attach them to leave. Many times I have transported it with the speakers separate as it is just easier that way. I like the fact that the jacks are pretty universal and it comes with a bunch of adapters, but guaranteed you will need to go get one more - so test before you take it somewhere you need it working. Speakers are tough and do the job, but you are not going to get studio quality out of them. Stands are anemic, and I wish they were a little beefier/taller. All in all, this is a good low price unit that will handle most events with up to about 300 sitting in front of it. Church, small car shows, picnics, office parties etc...

I work with a traveling summer program divided up into 3-4 teams, that uses many version of the "all in one" system. And the Stageworks is by far the best! Each of these camps has a professional musician associated with it, and several of them have commented on it as well. We use it indoor and out and have great success with it. I liked it so much, that I bought one for my own programming and people are always impressed.
