Squier has created a new affordable classic with the Vintage Modified Mustang Electric Guitar. Retaining its classic short scale and comfortable body design; the Vintage Modified Mustang moves into the future with some simplified changes to the original specs.
The body is carved from basswood and the maple neck features 21 medium frets on a rosewood fingerboard. This current Mustang boasts a contemporary 9.5” fingerboard radius for effortless, clean string bending. Capped off with chrome vintage-style tuners, the Vintage Modified Mustang retains that classic 60’s mojo.
Custom Duncan Designed™ pickups offer tones from glassy smooth to jangly rockin’ rhythm crunch, with a vintage-tone neck pickup and higher-output bridge pickup. Other features include on/off-phase (in/out) slider switch for each pickup, master black skirted volume and tone knobs, tortoiseshell (Vintage White and Sonic Blue models) and white pearloid (Fiesta Red model) pickguards, floating bridge with dynamic vibrato tailpiece and vintage-style tremolo arm, and vintage-style white-tipped tuners.
