Squier Vintage Modified Telecaster Custom Electric Guitar
The Squier Vintage Modified Telecaster Custom brings back an iconic classic that was first unveiled in 1972. This modern-day classic features a basswood body available in Black or 3-Tone Sunburst. The electronics recreate the original specs of the 1972 version. This 1972 Telecaster Custom was produced in an effort to compete with other famous electrics that feature humbucking pickups. Fender introduced their version of the humbucker; resulting in the Wide Range pickup, designed by Seth Lover. The Wide Range Humbucker produces a bright, unique sound with power to spare. Paired with Duncan Designed TE-101B single-coil bridge pickup, this Telecaster possesses a very unique voice and has been heavily associated with some of rock & roll’s most enduring icons.
The Squier Vintage Modified Telecaster Custom boasts a 1 piece gloss finish maple neck and vintage-style tuners. The neck is carved into a C-shaped profile, and the 21 fret maple fingerboard has a modern, flatter 9. 5” radius. Other features include a three-position switch, three-ply Black/White/Black pickguard, vintage-style three-saddle strings-through-body Telecaster bridge; skirted amp control knobs and chrome hardware. Case not included.
