IT IS A PRETTY GOOD GUITAR AND HAS FAIR TONE.THE AMP IS ALSO FAIR AND GIVES OFF A PRETTY GOOD DISTORTED TONE AND A PRETTY NICE CLEAN TONE ALSO AND IS A GREAT CHOICE IN A GUITAR PACKAGE FOR BEGINERS AND EXPERTS ALIKE ESPECIALLY AT ITS PRICE.

"My first guitar was a Squier strat...I can still remember the day I got it. March 26, 2002. I was 12 yrs old. Today I still play it a lot. It's a great first electric guitar for kids or beginners of any age, and is great fun for anyone, no matter how much experience. Right now I am lead guitar in a band, and I still play my old Squier Strat. right now I'm saving up to get a Gibson Les Paul or Flying V, I'm still not sure which one to go with. But I will always remember the stratocaster, it's nice, trebly sound, and how I learned all that I know now on it. I give this one six stars. Oh wait, the meter only goes up to five. *Starts playing opening to ""Sweet Home Alabama""*"
