Fender's Deluxe Jazz Bass is a value-priced version of the world-famous Fender Jazz Bass. It has the look and tone that everyone knows and loves, at an ultra-economical price point. Electronics include two 5-string J-Bass pickups and an Active circuit with slap switch.

The bolt-on Maple neck has a Rosewood fingerboard with 20 medium jumbo frets. Equipped with a 5-saddle, chrome bridge, open-gear tuners and chrome hardware.

Additional features include: Jazz-style Basswood body; Treble, Middle and Bass controls; Volume; Blend; Slap Switch. Case not included.

I bought it as a backup bass, but the feel and sound was Better than my very expensive(2800.00+)bass!It records well too! It will need a proper professional set-up for best results. Big! Bang! for the buck!The bass is heavy! ,but solid.The tuners are bit course.(low ratio) , but at this price who cares!This bass is good enough for a Pro player. Buy Now!

I was looking for a back up bass to take on the road. I saw and heard this bass and wow it took me away. The setup out the box needs some work and the pickups will be changed but the sound is byfar a good sound. Fender did a good job on this one. The price is so right. I got the black one but wanted it in white also (next week)
