I agree with the person before. It goes out of tune quickly, but that's what your tuner is for. Besides, changing my strings with the ones that came in the pack helped me. You should get this guitar cuz it's pretty damn cool.

I love the sound,playability,and comfort. for the price, your getting a great guitar. for the person who say it sucks after the year, my advise is take it to sams ash for computerized tune up, I'll be like new again, and replace the strings after 40 hrs of playing If you take of it she will give you years of good service. I own a Fender Jazz bass, it's 30 years old with good maintanace and it sounds better than new. and the strat can to. I LOVE my strat.

i just bought this guitar at samsah
it's a excellent guitar
the body is great for hours of jamming
it feels solid and sturdy
the finish is also durriable
and i dont get why everybody says that the guitar keeps going out of tune cuz it keeps its tune for a long time
i only need to tune it every 2 weeks
an excelent guitar
i would definattly buy this guitar again if mine got stollen

This guitar is a really good deal. I am 13 years old and this is my first guitar. This is great for just fooling around with my friends. The amp is also very good with the clean or drive channels. I feel that this guitar is a good deal for the money.
Also, the action is pretty good, ideal for beginners, or experienced players looking to add another inexpensive guitar to their collection.

"I've had this guitar for almost a year and it's coming out of tune completely, I barely improved on it since I got it. But when you get it right out of the box it's actually pretty good, get a big stacked nice amp and it might do pretty good if you put in some new pickups, but after a year or so, get a new guitar."

Thank you Squier. This was the perfect solution for my budding rock-star son. He wanted to learn guitar so we picked up the Fat Strat Pack and he's trilled (us too). The pack has everything he needed to get started. Who knows - maybe in a few years we'll see him on American Idol!
