Once I got it I was very excited I pulged it in and it sounded great. Once I heard the buzz I looked at the pickgaurd and saw some bad scratches At first I got upset but I get it doesn't matter. The only thing it can't do is play Metallica and Motley Crue. It's great for a starters guitar but if you want to play metal you have to get a distortion pedal it's not the absolute BEST but it's a 3.9-4.5 rating

This guitar is mainly very good for beginners. Its light weight and easy to hold. Song with chords may not sound as clear as you'd like them to, both plugged in and out unfortunatly, though the songs are mainly recognizable. It has a lot of noise when plugged in. The input jack is absolutley horrible, the wires can become detched and the metal that holds the plug in becomes loose and may be bent down into place again. Suaghtering the wires would definatley help (I did this with mine.) Really good for beginers and people who just want to play around with a cheap guitar and don't care too much. If your serious, look for something better.

I've had this guitar for seven years, I play some pretty insane solos and what not, Jazz, Blues, and Classical Rock.. its not the BEST but it is great to get started.. this was first guitar I've ever had and after first week I could stop playing, also if you change pickups and tuners and what not, it can be a great guitar. The fret board isn't the best ethier.. I used some of the Slinky Strings™ (something like that) and after one week use--literally the part that pops out on the neck Cut through the strings... BUt, i doubt a beginger would be rocking out to Master of Puppets (by Metellica) Great for begininers.

I got this guitar as a beginner 2years ago and i highy recomend it... it plays great sounds great... and i dont think ill need to buy another guitar any time soon but if i do i will definatly consider another fender... its a very strong guitar i have dismantled it many times to board a plane and when putting it back together everything played the same... ive had many prefessionals play on my guitar and they always compliment the way it plays... the amp is amazing and will blow if you really want it to.. to be honest id rather use it on the amp given than on the sound system we use at church.. i usually have people at church asking me to turn the guitar down and its in a room that fills 170 people so that speaks for its self.... i believe the price the stores are selling it for is unbeatable and if anyone is getting ripped off its the store not you.

What i think about this guitar is that when you play and you see that it is a cheap guitar u think that its going to sound bootleg but after you play it you would have no problems like as if u boght it for $4,000.00 it dosent have any problems trust me im a expert and u know wat day say its not the thing thats wrong its the user.And if u look at my recording video in [@] called recording with a cool guitar u would see it is really great.So if u read any of these bad comments remember its not the thing wrong its the user.So if u r planing to get it u r in a good deal.

this was my first guitar. everything about this guitar is just what you would expect for a starter guitar. No part of this instrument is top quality. I did not have any fret buzz on mine but I have played a few that did have that problem. If you get it set then that should go way unless the neck is warped. If you're looking for a strat to start out this one is pretty good. If you're just looking for a guitar to start out with pick something else.

This is an average strat. it has low strings wich is goood for soloing bad pickups bad input WARNING THE AMP IS THE WORST SOUNDING PIECE OF EQUIPMENT EVER

I got this this guitar about 3 years ago. I just started to play chords and stuff. 3 years ago, I got this guitar just for the sake of having a guitar. Now when i started to learn how to play it,i realized how horrible it sounds. you can't even hear the chords correctly. I recomen d that you, and me should get the ESP EC-50. Also get a line 6 speaker, a cable, tuner, and strap. bottom line ask your dad to get you the guitar i just mentioned. Dad's, it's something your chidren really need. Its not something that they want to waste your money, it's something to use,to use it for the Lord's glory! Please get this for your children if they are serious about playing the guitar. I am a christian, and i want more children to be blessed and learn to praise God with the Guitar. God bless you, Jesus loves you!!!

it is a good guitar first one i got ,but it has a realy realy bad amp! i recommend geting a new amp after you buy it. realy good stuff it comes with!
