I would describe myself as an intermediate guitarist who has grown with this guitar starting as a beginner. This guitar is about 4 years old and still is in great shape. My only complaints (real complaints) are that the tone knobs aren't responsive and there is fret buzz. Otherwise, the guitar is a great little novice guitar.

I have owned the Black with metallic fleck pickguard for over 5 years. When I retired 3 years ago my family took me out to buy a "real" strat. I tried out a few and told them that there wasn't enough difference to warrant spending the money. I own a 310 SG, Hamer Studio USA, A vintage 12 string and 6 string and a CPX 700 yamaha. I always pick up this one. I will be replacing the Humbucker with a better one and do some rewiring so the tone control works with it. That's my only beef with it so far. The range of sounds you can get with this thing is unreal.

this is good for beginners because of its price and it can be upgraded. ive had this guitar for 7 months and its been working very good. the one bad thing is fret buzz but it is not a major problem for me.

This guitar is perfect for a beginner but when you want to modify it or become better at guitar, then i would recommend getting a new guitar.

i bought this guitar to upgrade it
but out of the box it was great
it stays in tune really good.
didnt really sound good out of the
box, but i replaced the pick-ups with
the emg k-21 and its sounds great
