Sony MDM-X4mkII Minidisc Multitrack
Go digital with Sony’s MiniDisc multitrack recorder, which offers 4-channel recording and playback for smooth and easy editing with no sacrifice to sound quality. Includes an analog mixer that offers 4 mic/line inputs (1/4" and XLR combination connectors for channels 1 and 2, 1/4" only on the other 2), 2 mono AUX sends and 2 stereo AUX returns. The Move and Copy feature allow the user to record a track and move it, or copy it into another time section of the song. This is a key requirement for MIX, WRITE and VIRTUAL MIX. MIX WRITE: This offers the ability to add audio to an existing track, combining a new vocal, for example with a guitar track that was already recorded. VIRTUAL MIX: A track managing system that allows the user to record 8, 12 or even 16 virtual tracks and eventually combine them or cloned copies down to a 2 or 4 track mixdown. Other features include: 1 stereo line input; 4 direct track outputs; 3-band EQ on mono inputs 1-4; MIDI in/out/thru; supports MMC and MTC synch.
