It is superior to conventional shell isolation mounts since T.A.R. does not affect the sound sensitive tension rods. Where other techniques require laborious unmounting of drum heads, T.A.R.’s patented lug connector system gives you independent mountings and swift, solid tom setups. 3003 also upgrades you to ten tension rods on the bass drum allowing for more accurate tuning and 400 series hardware for maximum durability! 7 high-gloss lacquer finishes rival those of kits costing 3 times as much and a DT 211 throne is included too.
