Sonor introduces a great new artist signature snare drum, the Benny Greb Signature Snare Drum featuring a 5-3/4”x13” 5mm Thin Beech shell with a Scandinavian Birch veneer semigloss finish as well as other professional quality Sonor features. The Benny Greb Signature Snare Drum is an authentic reproduction of his first and favorite Sonor snare .
Since 2004, the drumming scene shooting star Benny Greb has been part of the SONOR family. Early 2010, SONOR and Benny begun working on a very special Snare Drum, Benny’s very own Signature model that is as versatile and musical as Benny himself. Benny favors Beech, and that is what gives the drum its transparency, warmth and a wide tuning range with a fat sound. The beautiful outer veneer is Scandinavian Birch that adds a timeless look to the drum. But it wouldn’t be Benny without adding something very special. The personalized Benny Greb badge shows his unique “Cartoon-head” and a soft rubber ring is applied to the shell.
