It maintains a true supercardioid pattern throughout its frequency range. This insures high gain-before-feedback, maximum isolation from other sound sources, and minimum off-axis tone coloration. The Beta 58A has a shaped frequency response that is ideal for close-up vocals. Typical applications for the Beta 58A include lead vocals, backup vocals and speech. Smooth, extended frequency response for outstanding sound for professional live vocal use Consistent supercardioid pattern provides the best gain-before-feedback among dynamic microphones Frequency response: 50 to 16,000 Hz Consumer Alert Most users do not need a license to operate this wireless microphone system. Nevertheless, operating this microphone system without a license is subject to certain restrictions: the system may not cause harmful interference; it must operate at a low power level (not in excess of 50 milliwatts); and it has no protection from interference received from any other device. Purchasers should also be aware that the FCC is currently evaluating use of wireless microphone systems, and these rules are subject to change.
