Comments about Shure PG24PG58 Performance Gear Handheld Wireless System:

This mic is good if you need a very inexpensive beginner wireless mic. I used 6 of these on one installation and had problems with a few of them interfering with each other. I found that you have to be careful of the frequencies you put them on. It's easy to get frustrated trying to put them in sequence. That won't work! They had a few distance problems but overall the church and I liked them. I just won't use these again if I need more than 4 wireless mics at the same time. It's better to pay the difference for the better units. The downfall of these mics is the internal antenna. Nice idea but NOT practical. They need to install better antennas or just go back to external antennas. The max distance we used these at were about 75 feet line of site. There should have been absolutely NO problems what so ever. But that was in Los Angeles. Some areas will be worst than others. Overall, I'd use them again but in limited areas. If you can, get the better ones with the external ant. Thanks for reading.

Comments about Shure PG24PG58 Performance Gear Handheld Wireless System:

This is cheap and is good when you are 20-30 meters away from reciever but makes a weird noise like a click or something like that over time or when batteries are low. Also kind of unreliable since this mic acts weird at some times. Good price but not good quality. I have used it for maybe 5 months now and is used at my church. Make sure not to have too electronics because if you dont you will need to optimize the frequency. Good mic though if you plan to use it if you are close to the reciever. If you can afford a better then please do so and buy a better one.
