Was $699 now $599! The Sheraton II is one of Epiphone's premier archtop models. It has two humbucking pickups and a stopbar tailpiece and gold tone hardware all around. It has a bound laminated maple body with a laminated maple top. The three-piece set maple neck has a rosewood fingerboard and block/triangle mother-of-pearl inlays. Case not included.
Comments about Epiphone Sheraton II Hollow Body Electric Guitar (Assorted Colors):
Bought it, then reluctantly traded it toward a much more expensive acoustic guitar, then missed it so much, that I bought it back the following week. All with no hassle at Sam Ash's fabulous Huntington Station store. Really, except for the pickups which are good, but not great, you'd think you are playing a Gibson 335, the Sheraton is that good. Unbelieveable quality for the price. Down the road, when finances permit, I'll have the crackerjack Sam Ash techs put on Gibson '57 Classics, but in the meanwhile the stock pickups will do just fine. No need to spend $3000 on a Gibson, when you got the Sheraton.

Bealtiful, the neck is not too thick, for play fast songs it is great. Of course, it is not a Gibson, so ther some litle failures, like, the sound, it is not one of the greatest.

Comments about Epiphone Sheraton II Hollow Body Electric Guitar (Assorted Colors):
I got this guitar just yesterday, spending all the money I earned from a scholarship. I have to say, Im extremely impressed. I don't really play jazz or blues too often, but I mostly stick to pop/punk/rock. Skepitical of getting a semi-hollow for these types of playing purposes, I bought it anyway. This guitar is absolutely versitile, and can get the job done for any kinds of playing purposes. Not to mention the looks are pheonominal!

I love this guitar! At first i wanted to get a Epiphone casino but it seemed it little bit under tone so i checked out the sheraton and it was amazing. it has a great tone and without an amp it still sounds great. my only problem is that it is a little ti hevy compared to the casino but whatever- its the sound that matters

Comments about Epiphone Sheraton II Hollow Body Electric Guitar (Assorted Colors):
I have been an on and off player for over 30 years. I played this model in the store 4 or 5 times before I got it. Each time I liked it more and more. Fit and finish are very good. Sure, it needed a setup and strings, but they all do right off the rack. Tone unplugged is nice and mellow. Tone plugged in is much better than I expected. It will do anything from warm blues to searing leads (with the right style and equipment). I currently own 10 guitars, Gibbys, Fenders, and epis, and this one seems to get the most playing time. Very comfortable neck and fingerboard. Frets are very well dressed. Even after 10 months, the only complaint I have is that the neck pickup is not quite as articulate on clean settings as I would like. A Gibson Classic 57 will fix that right up. I have had no problems with pots, switches, or jack. Tuners are low line Grovers, but it holds it's tuning as well as anything else I have. I tried several string types, but my favorite on this model is the Gibson Vintage .010 to .042 set. I have done some recording with it, and the sound was very good, to say the least. I have no problem playing this on stage. I have the ebony finish, and the black and gold looks stunning. I get many compliments on the looks and sound of this guitar. Very nice guitar for the price!
