The Schecter Hellraiser C-1 FR is a double-cutaway shred machine that is ready to take you to the next level. Featuring a contoured mahogany body adorned with Abalone or grey Pearloid binding and carved maple top (quilt maple on translucent finishes); the Hellraiser C-1 FR delivers top shelf quality at a working musician’s price.
The neck is constructed from 3 piece mahogany and has been shaped in to an extra thin profile for high velocity soloing and the neck joint is specially contoured to allow easier access to the upper frets. The rosewood fingerboard is equipped with 24 extra-jumbo frets that will facilitate effortless string bending. Abalone cross-shaped inlays complete the shredder vibe of this guitar.
The Schecter Hellraiser C-1 FR sports a pair of high output hard-rock approved EMG Humbuckers. A tried and true EMG 81 humbucker in the bridge position will deliver scorching shredder tones. An EMG 89 in the neck position is loaded with Alnico V magnets, giving you warm powerful tones for your rhythm attack. The control panel includes master volume and tone controls, with coil taps to give you the option of a single coil sound, and a 3-way pickup selector toggle switch. Rounding out the hardware is a set of Grover Rotomatic tuners with an 18:1 gear ratio for smooth and precise tuning. At the other end, the Hellraiser C-1 FR is outfitted with a double-locking Floyd Rose 1000 Series bridge that will keep your tuning and withstand anything you can dish out. Case not included.
