The Samson MediaOne 4a Active Monitors deliver a big sound despite their relatively small size. With a built-in power amplifier delivering 40 watts (2 x 20 watts), the power amp is matched perfectly to the 4” custom designed copolymer woofer and 25mm silk dome tweeter. Both speaker elements offer an extended low and high response that make for some very tight low-end along with sweet, natural-sounding high frequency response. Useful Features The right side speaker cabinet offers some very nice, useful features for the home recordist or gaming hobbyist, as well as any multi-media applications you may need. The Samson MediaOne 4a’s are shielded so there will be no interference if used in close proximity to a computer monitor. A master volume control in the form of an easy to grab rotary knob is located just above a 1/8”/3.5mm stereo input jack. You can easily and quickly hookup an mp3 player or any stereo line-level device here. Just below is a stereo 1/8” headphone jack for private listening. Plugging in a set of headphones will mute the speakers automatically. Around the rear of the right side speaker are stereo RCA inputs giving the MediaOne 4a two stereo inputs. The cabinets are designed utilizing rear venting for extended low frequency response, and sport an attractive black satin vinyl covering.
