Ok so they are a little flimsy, but then again they are not made for super heavy monitors. The material they are made of is super strong, the same type of stuff I see music stands made of, and I have seen those things take a beating. I have my Yamaha Hs50M monitors on these stands and they are seated just fine, although I need to level out my left monitor, I think it's crooked because of the carpet the stand is on. I may or may not return them, I saw the next model up at another Sam Ash for only 10$ more, the ms200's look a little sturdier.

Ordered two— only one survived. They are ok when they work, but slightly unstable. Metal at joint fell apart, threading was stripped as well.

"I like the design of the adjustable, vice-style speaker bracket. With most monitor stands, you just sit the speaker on top of the platform and hope that your speakers never get bumped and fall off the stand. With this design, the speaker is �locked� in place. The speakers seem to be secured safely on the MS100. I would definitely recommend the MS100 for smaller size near-field monitors. "
