Samson MDR624 Mixer

The MDR624 features a total of six channels, two Mic/Line channels, plus two stereo channels, in a flexible design making it ideal for live sound recording and post production. Other features include a 2-track to mix level control, allowing you to mix in an auxiliary source like a CD or Mini Disc with the channel faders, three band channel equalization, an auxiliary send for external effects, monitor or headphone mix, and a five segment LED meter with VU markings on the main mix output.

This litle thing has more features for the price that I can put into words.I play a heavily modified Yamaha Strat style guitar into several pedals; then into a Tube Works rack mount preamp then into my Samson MDX. From this point I won't share any more secrets.The mix then goes into my MosValve guiter stereo power amp and then fed to a 1967 Vox Royal Guardsman 2x12 with reconed original Bulldog speakers, the other signal goes into a Vox VBN 212 with factoery speakers.Thanks to my Samson, I can get a no noise signal seperation.[...]

I bought this when my larger, more expensive mixer broke before a gig and I liked it so much it's now my main mixer. Very easy to use and the sound quality is great. Also very compact. The only problem is the limited inputs (not enough for a full band with drums) but for the price, you will be pleased.

This Piece of Machinery Is Basically You Get What The Price Is I Just Bought It Because I Needed Phantom Power For My Shure Ksm .. But As I Went Along Using It I SHould Have Bout A Better Quality One Just To MAke It that Much Better... It Also Beats Jus Buying A Phantom Box Itself ... [$]....Great product to Start Off With..

This is very similar to many other small mixers on the market. I liked the design and feel of this unit. Very sturdy at an unbeatable price. Fits perfectly on my desk and I'm finding it very useful when I'm out and about.
