Samson Expedition EX-10 PA Speaker
The passive EX10 enclosure is housed in a sleek molded cabinet with substantial internal bracing to support its thick side wall construction. Designed to be lightweight and compact, the EX10 is still rigid enough to allow maximum energy to be transferred from the cabinet into the room. Neutrik® Speakon connectors, convenient fly-points, a steel grill and scuff-resistant textured finish ensure exceptional versatility and long life.
Like all Expedition enclosures, the EX10 features a custom designed 12" Low Frequency driver. It combines a 2.5" voice coil Kapton former and 50 oz barium ferrite magnet to produce an accurate, super- tight bass response. The EX10's High Frequency section employs a 1" compression driver along with an elliptical wave guide horn that controls dispersion. This in combination with a phasing plug produces a linear overall response with a clear, musical top end. 250 watts program and 400 watts peak!
