The AAX Saturation Crashes were initially designed for Virgil Donati, but now these amazing cymbals can be yours. This particular series was designed to be full and rich with lots of character and many different tonal personalities. When you first hit it, it sounds like everything you’d expect from an AAX warm, modern, and bright but then the cymbal opens up and that’s when you experience its true tonal qualities. The wash of this cymbal is very dynamic and has many different overtones that play off of each other to create this truly broad spectrum of sound.
