Yamaha SM15V 15" 2 Way Passive Floor Monitor
Club Series V loudspeakers have rugged carpet covering and steel corner protectors to hold up to the rigors of transport. Heavy steel grilles offer protection for the woofer. Crossover networks that divide the signal going to the woofer and compression driver are constructed with oversized coils, high voltage capacitors, and power resistors designed to provide the best possible sound quality and minimize loss. Overload protection is also included to protect the components. Connections on these loudspeakers are dual Neutrik Speakon 1/4" jacks for the highest possible strength and current capacity. Two of each connector makes it easy to "daisy chain," or add speakers.

"We play some very big rooms and large outdoor gigs. We've been using 12"" floor wedges for a long time now. We finally moved up to the Yamaha SM15V and we're all very pleased. What a difference the 15"" and the horn makes. They can handle plenty of power - they're rated at 500W program and 1000W peak. The cabinets are pretty rugged - they have carpet covering and reinforced corners. I'd recommend the SM15V to any band needing a larger floor monitor."

The manufacturer's warranty covers parts for one year and labor for one year from date of purchase. The warranty excludes damage from misuse, abuse, and contains other exclusions.
