The sE Electronics Reflexion Filter is portable. It's innovative. It's versatile. It uses state of the art materials. It works, and it’s a fraction of the price of acoustically treating your studio environment! With the RF you can bring acoustic treatment with you wherever you need it and improve your recordings. Its shape and size have been carefully tested to maximize absorption, while leaving the microphone’s polar pattern unaffected. The mounting setup attaches to any microphone stand via a clamp fitting, with an additional assembly allowing the microphone to be moved both vertically and horizontally along the bar. The Reflexion Filter itself can be moved vertically to "tune" for the optimum desired absorption.
Recommended for: Vocals, Reeds, Horns, Guitar, Voice Over, Percussion, Live/Location mics. The Reflexion Filter works by reducing the amount of acoustic energy hitting untreated walls and other surfaces so there is less of the original source reflected back as unwanted room ambience to the mic. Sound reflections are progressively reduced in strength after passing through seven layers:
1. Punched Aluminum for diffusing sound waves
2. Sound-absorptive wool
3. Aluminum Foil breaking up lower frequency wave-forms
4. An air gap acting as an acoustic barrier
5. More sound-absorptive wool
6. Another layer of punched aluminum
7. Four formed panels of state-of-the-art specialized acoustic absorptive material separated from the main unit via a small air gap.

The manufacturer's warranty covers parts for two years and labor for two years from date of purchase. The warranty excludes damage from misuse, abuse, and contains other exclusions.
