Piccolo and Effects Snare Drums have become some of the most widely used and best selling Snare Drums in popular music today. Their crisp brilliant attack and tight sound with excellent projection have led many players to use them as both a secondary and primary snare. The 13" Piccolo Snare Drums are available with your choice of Brass, Maple or Steel shell. Each offers a slightly different tone and voicing, allowing you to fine-tune the pitch to best suit your personal needs.
Comments about Pearl S-1330B 3"x13" Steel Shell Snare Drum:
Tight, poppy little firecracker of a snare. Bright tone cuts through the messiest mix. The drum could use an extended lug count on the snare to enable refined tuning and tuning hold, but all in all, this is a steal for its low price and quality.

Comments about Pearl S-1330B 3"x13" Steel Shell Snare Drum:
When you are a drummer for church, you always need the best and strongest, because when it time for music you have to be drumming hard, and this snare provided everything for me. Also the skin is great.I had this snare for about a year and the skin has taken some pounding because i am a very agressive drummer, and the skin hasn't burst or worn out.Overall it's strong, its black shell can fit in with any drum kit,and no matter how much you tighten it up the sound's still great.
