New Mesh Drumhead Pads:
For the TD-4KX enhanced edition, three New 6.5” PDX-6 mesh pads for toms as well as new PDX-8 pads for floor tom and snare (the original TD-4 kit also featured the PDX-8 for snare) replace the original TD-4’s rubber pads providing much improved feel and playability over the previous rubber versions. Drummers have always preferred the mesh pads to the rubber but cost had always been a concern …until now!
TD-4 Percussion Sound Module
The original TD-4 module is still here but it now has 4 times the internal memory than before, offering an unprecedented value in tone generation and additional drum training features. It comes loaded with 125 instruments and 25 kits. You can tune and tweak the snare, kick and toms as well as add adjustable natural ambience effects that are built-into the unit.
The drum samples range from subtle to powerfully dynamic and cover the most popular genres and playing styles. . All the drum sounds are editable and tunable making for an unbelievably authentic playing experience. There’s also a handy Mix In connector to hook up an external audio source (such as an MP3 player) allowing you to play along with your favorite tunes.
