THE PHOTO DEPICTED IS NOT THE STAND I RECIEVED AND SAM ASH ACKNOWLEDGED THAT WHEN I CALLED BUT SAID YOU CAN'T GO BY THE PICTURE AND THAT I WOULD HAVE TO PAY SHIPPING IF I RETURNED IT!!! THIS SAME STAND AT OTHER SITES IS NOT EVEN THE SAME ONE- THEY ARE BETTER BUILT!

It went together quickly with fine fit & finish.
With a Bass, an Acoustic, and 3 Electrics it stays tight and stable.

I've owned this for a few years, but saw the other review, so I thought I'd add my own. I'm not having the problem with the rubber padding that the other reviewer is having. The padding does flatten out, but I just switch the side that the guitars rest on every once in awhile. My stand just sits in the studio, so no problem with having to tighten anything. I could see that maybe being an issue if the stand is being set up on a regular basis, though. Should be about half the price, then it would be a great buy.

While putting this together I had to beat parts of it with a hammer because it was bent out of shape. Also the holes for the bolts were not aligned. After fighting with it for an hour I finally got it together and it work pretty well. Still I would recommend that you spend your money more wisely.

Not only does this stand require constant tightening to keep it together, the foam pads melted on several of my guitars (which I keep in a temperature controlled environment).
