The POWERSTROKE™ 3 head is a single ply ambassador™-weight head with an underlay ring at the outer edge of the head to subtly dampen unwanted over-ring. This design creates a near-perfect balance of response and tone control that has quickly made POWERSTROKE™ 3 one of Remo's most popular drumhead models.
The 20" Ebony Powerstroke 3 Bass Drum Head "CH" version is made with a pre-cut 10" hole in the center of the drumhead. This head creates
significantly less "ring" and "boominess" for a tighter and more controlled sound. You can reach in to put in, take out or adjust additional muffling and it works great for microphone placement.
