I bought the red one last year. I just bought the blue one last weekend. It's my all-time favorite guitar. The neck is unbelievable. I've gotten rid of my other "RG'S", even with the 1st Wizard necks. To me, they just don't match up to the original specs like the
770's. The original "Wizard's" were the best!!!!

Ibanez Golden Years Reissue's the RG770

80's Rock Metal Shred

I have owned many Ibanez's from RG's to S-series Vai's and Satriani's. This guitar is exact to the original all the way down to the original edge tremlo which has always been thier best tremlo in my opinion. The 1987' neck is 17mm which is Ibanez's fastest neck they have ever produced and has a great feel. The pick-up's are very focused and mud free mainly geared torwards rock and metal though but dialing in the tone and coil tapping can produce many jazz tones as well. I own the original RG770DX I bought new in 92' and the new Reissue is dead on accurate! This guitar will not let you down. It is a little expensive but the quality is all there and they are only limiting production to 200 red and 200 blue and that's it. I would recommend this guitar to anyone who wants a great reissue that has all of the qualities of the early model RG's of the 80's shred guitars. Other than high $$$ can't go wrong.
