These bulbs are necessary, but they have a super-short life span. The bulb lowers and blinks after only 3 weeks at 2 hours a day, five days a week. That's only about 28 or 30 hours! I was very dissapointed. But they are needed so my advice is: BUY ALOT!

The manufacturer's warranty covers parts for five years and labor for five years from date of purchase. The warranty excludes damage from misuse, abuse, and contains other exclusions.
